Natasha Dix has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Museums Officer at the Isle of Wight Council until 2002. Natasha then joined the Hampshire and Wight Trust for Maritime Archeaology as an Exhibition and Fundraising Officer from 2003 to 2004. Following that, Natasha worked as an Assistant Manager at Westworld World Images for a brief period in 2004. In 2005, they were an Office Manager at Club Ed Surf School and Camps.
Returning to the Isle of Wight Council in 2006, Natasha took on various roles including Coastal Officer, Consultant Specialist for the Espace manche development initiative, and Waste Contract and Strategy Officer. From 2011 to 2013, they served as the Highways PFI Stakeholder and Waste Technical Manager, where they were responsible for managing contracts and procurement. Subsequently, they became the Waste Technical and Highways PFI Stakeholder Manager. From 2013 to 2017, Natasha served as the Principal Project Officer for Waste and Recycling, where they achieved the Silver Award for best Waste/Water/Energy Project in 2016.
In 2017, Natasha advanced to the role of Waste and Recycling Manager, and then Principal Manager for Waste and Recycling in 2018. From 2019 to 2023, they held the Strategic Manager position, delivering strategic leadership and overseeing major capital programs and projects related to waste resource management, climate change strategy, and coastal protection. Finally, Natasha currently holds the position of Service Director for Waste Environment and Planning at the Isle of Wight Council.
Natasha Dix holds a BA (hons) degree in Advertising from Solent University, which they obtained in the year 2001. In 2002, they completed their MA in Museums and Collections Management from Bournemouth University. Later, in 2014, they earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Technology Management from The Open University. In addition to their degrees, Natasha has also obtained certifications such as the Level 5 Certificate in Leadership and Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) in 2015 and the PRINCE2 Practitioner certification in August 2013. Furthermore, they obtained an HND in Design Communications from Southampton Solent University in the year 2000.
