Javier Salamanca Gonzalez is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector with a strong background in project management and business development. Currently serving as Country Manager at Island Green Power since October 2019, Javier oversees the company's portfolio in Spain, focusing on securing locations, interconnection processes, and obtaining necessary authorizations for photovoltaic (PV) projects. Prior roles include Business Development Manager at juwi AG, where Javier managed a PV project pipeline in Japan, and multiple project management positions at SunEdison AG, Gonquis, Transworld Solar, and others, handling various aspects of project execution, coordination, and stakeholder communication. Javier holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and additional qualifications in project finance and project management.
