Claire Bedwell-Thomas currently serves as the Global Programme Impact & MEAL Manager at Islamic Relief Worldwide, leading the Global MEAL Team and focusing on developing tools and frameworks to evidence impact. Previously, Claire held roles such as Global MEAL Systems Lead and MEAL Coordinator at the same organization, emphasizing the integration of MEAL systems globally. Additional experience includes serving as a Trustee for The Buturi Makongoro Project, as well as transitioning into the non-profit sector with CARE International UK. Prior professional experience includes significant roles at Handle With Care Limited and research collaboration at the University of Exeter. Claire holds a Master's degree in Conflict, Security & Development and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Exeter.
