Bill VanderGiesen has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Bill is currently serving as the Vice President of Services at ISG Technology LLC since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of IT Service Delivery for the United States and Canada at Sitel Group from September 2021 to August 2022.
Before joining Sitel Group, Bill held multiple positions at SYKES, including Director of IT Client Services and Service Delivery CSS from June 2018 to April 2022. Bill also served as the Director of Regional IT Client Services, Global IT Client Services Manager, Sr. Business Systems Analyst, Technology Solutions Architect, Regional Telephony Manager, and Telephony Administrator during their tenure at SYKES, encompassing various responsibilities from 1999 to 2018.
Outside of the IT industry, Bill worked as a PACE Adjunct Instructor for History at Friends University from August 2008 to August 2013. Bill also held teaching positions at Newman University as an Adjunct Professor and Visiting Professor of History from 2005 to 2008, and at Kansas State University as a Graduate Instructor of History from 2003 to 2005.
In the early years of their career, Bill worked as an Assistant Network Administrator at USD 383 - Manhattan/Ogden from April 1999 to September 1999, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for History at Fort Hays State University from August 1997 to May 1999. Bill also gained experience as an Operations Team Manager/Trainer at SYKES from June 1996 to July 1997.
Bill VanderGiesen attended Fort Hays State University from 1994 to 1997 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. Bill continued their studies at the same university from 1997 to 1999 and completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in History. Finally, from 2001 to 2004, Bill attended Kansas State University, where they focused on American History, Military History, Asian History, and International Relations, though they did not obtain a specific degree.
