Ciaran O'Connor is a Senior Analyst at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue since September 2020, focusing on disinformation, extremism, and online hate. Previously, Ciaran worked as a Journalist at Storyful, where expertise was developed in the verification and geolocation of user-generated content as well as monitoring disinformation on social media. Ciaran's early career included roles as a Production Assistant at Athena Media, Vice President for Education at DCU Students' Union, and Station Manager at DCUfm, among others. Ciaran holds a Master's degree in Communication Science, with a specialization in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from Dublin City University.
