Maarten Hofhuis possesses extensive experience in both motorsport and healthcare. Currently serving on the KNAF commissie rijders since March 2021 and as a member of the Extrication Team for FIA Formula E since February 2019, Maarten is actively involved in motorsport safety. Additionally, Maarten has been a part of the FIM Moto GP medical intervention team and holds various roles at TT Circuit Assen since June 2011, including paramedic and member of the medical committee. In the healthcare sector, Maarten has worked as an anesthesiemedewerker and sedatie praktijk specialist at Isala since August 2011 and previously held positions as an operatieassistent and verpleegkundige. Maarten's educational background includes studies at UMC Utrecht and ROC van Twente, complemented by training at Deltion College and Thorbecke scholengemeenschap Zwolle.
