Arun Narasimhan is a software engineer and tech lead manager at Google since October 2017, where significant contributions include the development of the Device Access platform for Google Nest devices, generative AI features for Google Assistant, and leading spam protection efforts for messaging services. Arun currently chairs the IoT committee for the Messaging, Malware, Mobile Anti-Abuse Working Group and holds memberships in CEDIA and the International Society of Automation. Prior experience includes roles at Oracle, Georgia Institute of Technology, Microsoft, and Sun Microsystems, complemented by a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from PSG College of Technology.
