Lars Lithen Madsen is an accomplished IT professional and research academic with extensive experience in both technical and managerial roles. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at ARC – Amager Ressourcecenter since March 2011, Lars oversees IT operations at a waste-to-energy plant with around 220 employees and manages several recycling stations along with two subsidiaries. Previous experience includes a managerial position at Microsoft Business Solutions, where involvement in the Dynamics Core Services team was key, as well as roles as a systems architect at Navision and a systems engineer at TDC Mobile. Lars has also held significant research positions, including Associate Research Professor at the Technical University of Denmark and research roles at UCSB and the University of Copenhagen. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, a Master in IT Management and Leadership, and a PhD in Solid State Physics, all obtained from the Technical University of Denmark.
