Kellie Pendergest

Director of Marketing and Communications at Irvine Public Schools Foundation

Kellie Pendergest has over 17 years of experience in marketing, communications, and fundraising. Kellie began their career in 2001 as Communications Coordinator at Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, where they collaborated with the Communications Director to create a strategic Communications plan and key messaging. In 2003, they moved to Mater Dei High School as Director of Admissions Marketing & Special Events, where they coordinated all marketing efforts of the school to drive admissions and was accountable for planning, execution, and volunteer management of all special events for parents, students, and alumni. From 2008 to 2015, they were Director of Advancement at St. John's Episcopal School, responsible for all marketing and fundraising efforts of an independent school. Currently, they are the Director of Marketing and Communications at Irvine Public Schools Foundation, where they act as the primary liaison between IPSF and the communities in which it operates. Kellie is responsible for generating positive community awareness of the foundation through all organizational communications, marketing, advertising, publicity, and media.

Kellie Pendergest received their MBA in Marketing from Cal State Fullerton, College of Business and Economics in 2010. Prior to that, they earned their BS in Marketing from USC Marshall School of Business in 2000.
