Pascale SCANFF has been the Chief Data Officer at the IRSN since December 2003, where responsibilities include defining and implementing the organization's data strategy, leading data governance, and promoting a culture of data across the institute. Previously, Pascale served as the head of the data valorization and application development service, focusing on health and environmental data applications, and as the head of the professional exposure monitoring and analysis unit, managing a system for tracking radiation exposure among workers. Additionally, Pascale was involved in several projects related to patient exposure to ionizing radiation and contributed to European initiatives in this area. Prior experience includes a role as a researcher in radiobiology and radiopathology at CEA from May 1992 to November 2003, specializing in radio-induced gastrointestinal dysfunction and bio-indicators. Pascale holds a Doctorate in Biochemistry from Université Paris VII-jussieu and ENSIA, completed in 1991.
