Olivier Armant is an accomplished researcher with extensive experience in developmental neuroscience and bioinformatics. Currently serving as the Head of Laboratory and Principal Research Scientist at IRSN since November 2015, Olivier previously worked at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology as a Senior Scientist and NGS specialist, leading the Massive Parallel Sequencing facility. Prior roles include postdoctoral research fellowships at the Medical Research Council in London and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, alongside a PhD in Developmental Neuroscience earned at Université Louis Pasteur, where research involved gene regulation in neurogenesis. Earlier experience includes positions at Sanofi Pasteur and VIRBAC, focusing on cancer vaccine development and mucosal vaccines.
