Valerie Sharman is an experienced professional in operations and engineering management, currently serving as Director of Operations at IRRAS AB since September 2019, following roles as Sr. Program Manager and Engineering Manager, Systems. Valerie's prior experience includes working at Philips from October 2015 to September 2019 as a Staff Development Engineer, focusing on new product development in peripheral vascular imaging catheters, and as a Manufacturing Engineer, managing clean room validation and product transfers. Additionally, Valerie held the position of Manufacturing Engineer at Integra LifeSciences from July 2007 to September 2015, gaining expertise in various medical device manufacturing processes. Valerie began their career as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer at Dexcom from July 2004 to April 2007. Valerie holds a B.A. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Material Science (polymer) from Smith College, earned between 2000 and 2004.
