Jonah Gollub is a seasoned research scientist currently serving at Irradiant Technologies since April 2023. Concurrently, Jonah holds the positions of Advisor, Board Member, and Principal Scientist at Metacept Inc, where the focus is on innovative technologies utilizing intelligent materials. Jonah’s prior experience includes a notable role as a Research Scientist at Duke University from 2013 to 2022, managing a significant Department of Homeland Security contract aimed at millimeter wave imaging technology. Jonah also contributed as Lead Modeling and Simulation Scientist at Phoebus Optoelectronics, where expertise in nanoscale metamaterials and photonic applications was applied. Earlier positions include a researcher role at the Center for Metamaterials and Integrated Plasmonics and an Applications Development Engineer at FEI Company. Jonah holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, San Diego, and a B.A. in Physics from Reed College, alongside additional studies at Duke University as a visiting scholar.
