Raymond Lucena Jr. has extensive work experience at Ironstate Development Company. Raymond started in 2006 as an Assistant Property Manager and subsequently worked their way up to more senior positions. In their role as Property Manager, they successfully managed 200 luxury apartments and increased the complex's occupancy percentage. Raymond also handled various responsibilities such as lease renewal, budget analysis, marketing, and building business relationships with city officials. Later, Raymond became a Yardi & ResMan Systems Analyst, where they managed and provided support for property management software and integrated third-party applications. Raymond eventually became the Corporate Director of Property Operations, where they developed new business strategies, implemented systems, and assisted with budgeting. Raymond also held administrative and concierge roles at the company from 2002 to 2005.

Raymond Lucena Jr. attended Hudson County Community College from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching. Raymond then transferred to New Jersey City University, where they studied Sociology with a focus on Social Work from 2004 to 2010.
