Sofia De Jesus, MS, LPC, is an experienced mental health professional with a diverse background in counseling and therapy. Currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician for Rutgers University since December 2021, Sofia manages case responsibilities, coordinates treatment, and collaborates with community agencies. Additional roles include Licensed Professional Counselor at Ironbound Community Corporation, where individual and family therapy is provided to those affected by domestic violence, and various counseling positions focusing on anxiety, depression, and trauma across multiple organizations. With a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Florida International University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Montclair State University, Sofia brings a comprehensive skill set in mental health treatment and crisis assessment.
