Karin Krause has over 30 years of work experience. From 1987 to 2011, they worked for the United States Air Force as a Superintendent, Public Affairs (Assistant Director). In 2011, they took a sabbatical leave. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Community Relations Project Manager for the Arizona Department of Transportation. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Strategic Communications Project Manager / Advisor for ERP International. Currently, they are a Strategic Communications Integration Lead at Logisolve/TEKSystems/Apex, and will be starting as a Strategic Communications Lead at IronArch Technology in 2022.

Karin Krause attended the Department of Defense Information School (DINFOS) in 1997. Karin then obtained an Associates degree in Applied Science Public Affairs and an Associates degree in Applied Science Avionic Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 2004. In 2016, they earned a Bachelors of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix. Finally, they received a Masters in Communication from Purdue University in 2020.
