Philip Howley is an experienced instructional specialist and lead instructor with a focus on front-end web development, currently working at the University of Birmingham since June 2023. With a robust background in teaching HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React through various bootcamps and universities, Philip has been involved with edX as a lead instructor since October 2022 and Nucamp Coding Bootcamp since January 2020. As a React developer for Iron Cove Solutions since May 2018, Philip specializes in building React applications using various modern technologies. Additionally, Philip has contributed as a lead instructor and technical assistant at multiple prestigious universities, facilitating intensive coding curricula. Philip holds an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University and a bachelor's degree in finance from Clemson University.
