Shane Smith has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they worked as an Intern Software Engineer at SAIC, where they were responsible for creating and integrating a user interface and developing a back-end database. From 2010 to 2013, they served as an Event Coordinator at Event and Conference Services, Saint Vincent College. In 2014, they joined Iron Bridge as the Director of Operations.

Shane Smith completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and Information Sciences with a focus on Information Technology from Saint Vincent College in 2011. After that, they pursued a Master's degree in Management with a specialization in Operational Excellence from the same institution, which they completed in 2013.
