Jim Lunceford

Integration Engineer at Iron Bridge

Jim Lunceford has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Jim started their career as a Medical Technologist Intern at Unity Health System in 1993 and then moved on to work as a Medical Technologist at LabCorp from 1994 to 1999. Jim was responsible for performing diagnostic analysis of laboratory testing and provided leadership to a team of MLTs.

In 1999, Jim joined Cerner Corporation as an Application Developer and played a role in the development of the Citation Laboratory Information System (LIS) and Radiology using various programming languages. Jim also developed a proprietary HL7 Engine to connect with outside vendors. Jim managed a large support region for LIS and dealt with software, hardware, and networking issues.

In 2004, Jim joined HMS as a Product Manager for Interoperability where they oversaw interface development projects using Mirth, HL7, XML, and proprietary protocols. Jim handled projects involving interface development with Dr. First, Outreach Lab, Reference Labs, and Capsule.

From 2011 to 2013, Jim worked at Vision Consulting, LLC as an Interface Engineer. Jim then moved to Community Health Systems where they served as an Interface Engineer from 2011 to 2017. In this role, their responsibilities included coding, testing, and deployment for a wide variety of vendors for a large enterprise-level organization with 205 hospitals across 29 states. Jim played a key role in completing MU Stage I and Stage II Core Objectives, as well as various conversion and acquisition projects.

Jim also worked at HCTec Partners from 2015 to 2017 as an Integration Engineer and at Parallon Technology Solutions from 2013 to 2017 as an Integration Engineer. Jim is currently employed at Iron Bridge Corp. as an Integration Engineer.
