Steve Baron has extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Director of Software Engineering at iRobot since 2017, Steve has previously held key positions including Head of Engineering at Wellframe, Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering/Products at KNODE, and CTO/Vice President of Engineering at Desktone, a company acquired by VMware, Inc. Additional notable roles include Vice President of Engineering at OPNET Technologies, Altaworks, and QuickBuy. Steve began a career in product development as Director at Red Brick Systems and Engage Technologies. Steve holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University at Albany.
