Aimee Boulanger is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in nonprofit management and environmental advocacy. As the Executive Director of the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance since October 2011, Aimee leads efforts to protect communities and the environment impacted by mining. Aimee Boulanger Consulting, established in July 2005, focuses on project work within the environmental and health sectors. Previous roles include Coordinator positions with the Western Mining Action Network and the Collaborative on Health and the Environment, and Program Director at the Institute for Children's Environmental Health. Aimee's leadership at Women's Voices for the Earth transitioned the organization into a national entity, and technical support was provided to mining-affected communities during Aimee's tenure at EARTHWORKS. Aimee's early career included roles at Sierra Club and Alaska Center for the Environment. Aimee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Politics from Mount Holyoke College and participated in the Twelve College Exchange program at Dartmouth College.
