Natàlia Girabet Massot has been working in the IT industry since 2006. Natàlia started as an English Teacher at Mister English in 2006 and then moved to Software Developer at Internet Web Serveis in 2007. In 2011, they became the IT responsible at the Spanish Trade Office of the Spanish Embassy in Oslo, Norway at ICEX. Natàlia then moved to Commercial Banking Applications AS in 2012 as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for backend development for the IBAS banking system and the creation of a web Trade Finance solution using Spring and Vaadin. In 2017, they took on a Software Engineer role at GFT Group and in 2020 they became a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer at IriusRisk. Most recently, they have taken on a role as Associate Professor at Universitat de Lleida in 2021.

Natàlia Girabet Massot obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universitat de Lleida between 2003 and 2007. Subsequently, they obtained a Master of Free Software degree in Computer Science from the same university between 2008 and 2013.
