Daniel Fässler

Daniel Farrell is a research software engineer at the ADAPT Centre since October 2021, specializing in developing a data collection application and platform for clinical research, particularly focused on Motor Neurone Disease. Previously, Daniel served as a machine learning researcher, creating a reinforcement learning-based recommender system and human learner simulations. Daniel has experience as a freelance web developer from January 2018 to September 2021, designing and maintaining websites for private clients, and held ambassador roles in graphic and technology design at TES - Trinity Entrepreneurial Society. Additionally, Daniel worked as a software developer at Gazeal, implementing customer support software and creating an interactive map for property processing. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Galway.
