Urko Blanco has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2019. Urko started as an Automation and Industrial Electronic Engineer at Michelin, where they completed a two-year internship and worked on energetic improvements of the plant. Urko then joined Dibal S.A. as an Embedded Software Engineer, where they worked on the development of weight indicators for checkweighing and dosing. After that, they worked at Indaba Consultores S.L. as a C++ Embedded Software Engineer, developing a Dolphin OB solution for IKUSI. Their most recent role was at Irisbond as a Computer Vision/Embedded Software Engineer, where they worked remotely and developed Eye-Tracking SDK for embedded systems using C++ and OpenCV.

Urko Blanco obtained a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in 2012. Furthermore, they pursued a Master's degree in Automation and Industrial Electronic Engineering at the same institution from 2008 to 2016. In 2018, Urko Blanco completed an Embedded Systems Expert Course at Mondragon Unibertsitatea.
