Sharon Harper is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in both corporate and nonprofit settings. Currently serving as a Servant Leader at Iris Global since January 2021, Sharon focuses on providing support to marginalized communities in Appalachia while maintaining part-time work at Holston Home for Children. Prior to this role, Sharon held positions including Communications Manager at Brookdale, where management of associate communications was crucial for nearly 60,000 staff across multiple senior living communities. Previous experience also includes serving as Internal Communications Project Lead at Willis Towers Watson North America, and as Sr. Employee Communications Specialist at Caterpillar Financial Services, where Sharon developed communication strategies and content while collaborating internationally with executives. Sharon began the career journey at LifeWay Christian Resources as a Retail Communications Coordinator. Educationally, Sharon holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
