Daniel Alexander is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as the Lead Mechanical Engineer at Iris Dynamics Ltd. since May 2021, where significant contributions include the design of the Orca series motors and optimization of magnetic geometry, leading to a 110% improvement in force efficiency. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at Expander Engineering Services Inc. and SunOyster Systems GmbH, where responsibilities included programming automation software for engineering calculations and spearheading the mechanical development of a bidirectional tracking CPV solar collector. Earlier experience includes a mechanical engineering co-op position at EVRAZ North America. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Co-op from the University of Alberta.
