Saumil Shah has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the aerospace and telecommunications industries. Saumil began their career at Motorola in 1997 as an Orbit Analyst Crew Shift Lead. From 2001 to 2015, they held various roles at Boeing, including Operations Support Engineer and Mission System Engineer. In 2015, they joined Scitor Corporation as a SETA/Operations Engineer and later moved to The Aerospace Corporation as a Ground System & Software Cost Advisor. Currently, Saumil is working at Iridium as the Director of System Engineering (External Government Programs), after previously serving as the Associate Director in the same department. In their role at Iridium, they have been responsible for launch and early-orbit operations support, systems engineering, and real-time analysis for satellite and ground operations.
Saumil Shah pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Penn State University. Saumil attended the university from 1993 to 1997 to complete their undergraduate education.
