Hermann Petrov has work experience in the field of machine learning engineering, with a focus on computer vision.

From 2022 onwards, they are working at IREX.ai as a Machine Learning engineer (Computer Vision). In this role, their main projects involve developing computer vision classifiers for attribute recognition tasks, such as glasses, sex, race, age, headdress, and mask recognition. Additionally, they are responsible for optimizing these classifiers for production inference.

Prior to joining IREX.ai, Hermann worked at Sberbank from 2019 to 2022. During their time at Sberbank, they held the position of Machine Learning engineer (Computer Vision) from May 2020 to January 2022. Hermann also worked as a Machine Learning Intern from November 2019 to April 2020 as part of their early work experience.

Hermann Petrov completed their master's degree in Mathematics from the Higher School of Economics from 2018 to 2020.
