Michael Dolinar has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Michael started their career as a Programmer Analyst at L'Alliance des caisses populaires de l'Ontario limitée, where they designed and implemented the financial institution's connection to the Interac network. Michael then worked at Science North as a Staff Scientist, where they managed budgets and supervised a staff of 20 employees.

Michael later joined Gateway Treasures as a Computer Operations Supervisor, responsible for managing IT operations across three non-profit organizations. Michael also worked at Nasittuq Corporation as a Software Programmer, where they led the North Warning System software team and secured all mission software.

In 2015, Dolinar founded their own tech startup, AdvanceWorx Inc., where they served as the CEO and Chief Computer Scientist. The company developed mobile apps for international clients, which received recognition in leading publications and achieved top performance on the Apple App Store.

After AdvanceWorx Inc., Dolinar worked at Synaptic as the Director of Technology Development. In this role, they were responsible for designing next-generation IoT solutions, and under their leadership, Synaptic became the first commercial manufacturer of Mioty IoT sensor nodes. Dolinar then became the Chief Technology Officer at IRegained Inc. in 2020.
