Robert Durand has extensive experience in the field of system architecture and design. Robert worked at Irdeto from 2004 to the present, holding roles as a senior system architect and compiler designer/technical lead. Prior to that, they worked at Isacsoft from 2003 to 2004 as a chief product architect. Robert also worked at Cognicase from 1992 to 2003, where they served as the chief architect officer, assistant director of research & development, and analyst and programmer.

Robert Durand has a solid educational background in the field of computer science. Robert completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Université de Sherbrooke between 1986 and 1989. Prior to that, they earned a Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) in Science from Collège Militaire Royal de St-Jean from 1983 to 1985. Building upon their undergraduate education, Robert pursued further studies at Université de Sherbrooke and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 1990 to 1992.
