Ramesh K.S.Velu has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to the present. Ramesh began their career as a Broadcast Engineer at Philips Digital Networks, where they worked from 1996 to 2001. Following this, Ramesh worked as a Project Engineer at Philips Electronics Singapore from 2001 to 2003. Ramesh then joined Simac Broadcast as a Technical Sales Consultant, specializing in Video Compression System and Conditional Access, from 2003 to 2007. Ramesh subsequently served as the Telecommunication Network Planning Manager at Beijing Olympic Broadcasting from 2007 to 2008. From 2009 onwards, they have been employed at Irdeto, initially as a Senior Integration Engineer from 2009 to 2010, then as a Test Manager from 2010 to 2014, and currently as a Project Manager since 2014.

Ramesh K.S.Velu completed their education with a focus on business and IT services. In 1992, they attended Wigan & Leigh College and obtained a BTEC degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they completed in 1996. Ramesh then pursued further studies and attended the University of SP from 2001 to 2003, although the specific degree and field of study are not provided. In 2018, Ramesh attended NTUC LearningHub for ITIL V3 certification in IT Services. Later that year, they enrolled at Strathclyde Business School and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business in 2021.
