Levent Ozparlak has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Levent began their career as a Research/Teaching Assistant at Baskent University in 2000, and later held the same role at Bilkent University from 2001 to 2006. Levent then worked as a Lecturer at Baskent University from 2011 to 2012. In 2012, they served as a Part-Time Instructor at At覺l覺m University.

In 2013, Levent Ozparlak worked as a Visiting Scholar at The Ohio State University. Following this, they joined HAVELSAN in 2014 as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead. Levent held this position until 2016.

From 2016 to 2017, Levent Ozparlak worked at SDT Space and Defence Technologies as a Lead Systems Engineer and Team Lead. During this time, they focused on research on Remote Sensing, Image and Signal Processing.

In 2017, Levent Ozparlak joined Irdeto as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead. Levent held this role until 2019 when they transitioned to become an Enterprise Data Architect. As an Enterprise Data Architect, they guided Integration Engineers, supported them in raising the morale of the team, and facilitated meetings and information gathering from stakeholders across the company. Levent played a key role in migration planning for an ERP system and was involved in decision-making processes for migration. Levent also designed and helped to map ETL processes, building necessary SQL and Python scripts for ETL and cleaning.

In 2019, Levent Ozparlak took on the role of Senior Data Scientist at Irdeto. In this position, they led a team of seven and was responsible for developing proofs-of-concept, creating a framework for a corporate cybersecurity hub, and ideating new ideas.

Overall, Levent Ozparlak has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in various technical and leadership roles, particularly focusing on data science, software engineering, and systems engineering.

Levent Ozparlak obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Baskent University, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. Levent then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field at Bilkent University, from 2001 to 2004. Levent furthered their education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Baskent University, with studies spanning from 2006 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Levent has also attained several certifications. These include a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the Six Sigma Online and Aveta Business Institute, obtained in August 2023. Levent also holds a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from the same institutions, obtained in June 2023. Levent has acquired the "Metaverse for Developers" certification from NobleProg, earned in February 2023. Furthermore, they have completed the "Product Management Crash Course; IT Product Management" certification from Udemy in July 2022.

Levent Ozparlak has also acquired expertise through various Udemy certifications. These include "Ensemble Machine Learning in Python: Random Forest, AdaBoost" and "Machine Learning and AI: Support Vector Machines in Python," both obtained in June 2019. Lastly, they completed the "Learn The Truth About Agile vs. Waterfall" certification on Udemy in December 2017.
