Almar Termaten has a diverse work experience in the graphic design field. In 2011, they started as a Freelance Graphic Designer at Irdeto, where they worked until October 2012. In 2013, they returned to Irdeto as a Graphics Manager and successfully held the position until December 2017. In 2018, Almar joined Irdeto again, this time as a Creative Operations Manager. They also took on the role of Senior Graphic Designer in April 2021. Alongside their work at Irdeto, Almar founded 21 Design in January 2021.

Almar Termaten has an extensive education history in various fields. In 2000-2003, they pursued a Graphic Design course called "Grafische basiskennis." Following this, in 2010-2011, they completed a course in "Grafisch Ontwerpen" (Graphic Design), which was a part of a program called "Cursus Grafisch Ontwerpen." In 2011, Almar undertook two separate courses in Adobe software, specializing in Illustrator and Photoshop. Afterward, in 2016, they completed a course in "After Effects basic," focusing on Effects and Animation. In 2017, Almar attended a Management Course called "Management 4.0." Moving forward, in 2019-2020, they pursued a program at Motion Design School, concentrating on the "Science of character animation." In 2020, Almar participated in a course from Domestika, specializing in "Digital illustrations with ProCreate." Alongside their other educational endeavors, in 2021, they engaged in the "Grow 1 on 1 programme" at TPC Leadership. Currently, Almar is enrolled in an HBO-bachelor degree program in "Communication and Multimedia Design" at LOI, which they are expected to complete in 2024.
