David Haynes currently serves as Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Super Members Council since October 2023. Previously, David has had a significant tenure at IQ Group, Australia, as Executive Head of Industry Insights since May 2010. David also held key roles at the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, including Executive Manager of Policy & Research and Project Director from June 2010 to September 2023. Additional experience includes serving as Director at Gateway Network Governance Body Ltd from September 2016 to December 2018 and Chairperson of the Audit & Risk Committee at Council on the Ageing Victoria Australia from May 2012 to December 2018. David was a member of the Advisory Board for Banking and Finance at Monash University from February 2015 to June 2017. Earlier positions include Executive Manager of Financial Advice & Retail Investments at ME Bank, Executive General Manager at Industry Fund Services, and Chief Executive at AUSfund, covering Australia’s Unclaimed Super Fund. David's career began at Australian Administration Services as Trustee Services Manager from October 1996 to January 2001.
