Matthew Byard has extensive experience in physiotherapy, having worked at Ipswich Town FC since November 1996, where roles have included Head of Medical, Head Physiotherapist, First Team Physiotherapist, Academy Physiotherapist, and Match Day Physiotherapist. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Junior Physiotherapist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital from June 1997 to May 1998, focusing on neurosurgery, orthopaedics, and outpatient care, and briefly at The Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust in May 1998, providing care for the elderly. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy from the University of Hertfordshire, obtained between 1994 and 1997.
