Alia Zein is an experienced project manager, trainer, and counsellor currently working at ipso - International Psychosocial Organization since March 2017, focusing on sustainable psychosocial and mental health care initiatives. Prior experience includes working as a project worker at The Clock Tower Sanctuary, providing support to homeless young people, and serving as a tracing officer for the ICRC, managing crossings between Israel and Syria. Additional roles include coordinating events for the Echo Musical Cultural Association and assisting with refugee and asylum applications at the Embassy of Sweden. Alia Zein holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University and another Master’s degree in Human Rights/Anthropological Studies from the University of Sussex, along with a Foundation degree in Event Management from the University of Brighton.
