Pamela de la Torre has a wealth of experience in Human Resources, Volunteering, and Coordinating roles. Pamela began their career in 2000 as the Before and After School Program Coordinator for the San Diego County 4-H Youth Education Foundation. In 2002, they became the After School Program Coordinator for the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District. From 2003-2006, they worked as a PM Child Care Coordinator for Kid's Depot, an Area Coordinator for PSS World Medical, and a Tutor, Discrete Trial for B.E.S.T. Services, Inc. In 2010, they began volunteering at La Mesa First United Methodist Children's Center. In 2011, they began working as an Admissions Representative for Western Truck School. Finally, in 2012, they became a Human Resources Specialist, SHRM CP for IPS Group, Inc. and a Volunteer for Able-Disabled Advocacy.
Pamela de la Torre began their education journey by attending Grossmont College, where they studied Child Development, Liberal Arts, and Studio Arts. Pamela then attended San Diego State University, where they studied Liberal Arts and Studio Arts. In 2010, Pamela de la Torre began their studies at San Diego State University College of Extended Studies, where they obtained a Certificate in Human Resources Management in 2012. In 2016, they obtained a SHRM Certified Professional certification from the Society of Human Resource Management.
