Marina Carlson has an extensive work experience in the finance industry. Marina started their career as a Research Assistant at Stein Roe and Farnham, Inc. from May 1986 to May 1991. Marina then joined Strong Capital Management in 1991, where they worked as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Marina co-managed the Strong Common Stock and Opportunity Funds from December 1993 to December 1998, and also managed institutional small-cap and mid-cap equity portfolios. In 1999, Marina joined Artisan Partners, where they served as a Portfolio Manager and Managing Director. During their tenure, they co-managed the firm's Small-Cap Growth equity portfolios, and saw substantial growth in assets under management. Marina joined iProject LLC in 2011 as the Managing Director, and currently serves as an Advisor at Koha since February 2017.
Marina Carlson obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a Finance Concentration from Drake University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General from DePaul University, attending from 1987 to 1989.
