Alan Walsh has extensive experience in executive leadership and tax management, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at IPL since March 2007. Prior roles at IPL include Interim Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Group Tax Manager. Earlier in their career, Alan served as European Tax Manager at AXIS (AXIS Capital) and as Tax Manager/Associate Director at KPMG Ireland. Additional experience includes positions as a Tax Consultant at Matheson LLP and a Trainee/Senior at KPMG Ireland. Alan holds a Bachelor of International Commerce (French) from University College Dublin, is a member of the Irish Tax Institute, and is a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland. Further education includes an International Business Diploma from Nancy Business School in France.
