Leonard Chong is a Manager of Innovation and Technology at IPI since August 2023, focusing on enhancing business growth strategies for Singapore companies by addressing innovation and technology needs. Prior to this role, Leonard served as a Scientific Fellow at Big Idea Ventures from January 2022 to August 2023, where responsibilities included sourcing deals, conducting technical due diligence on startups, providing consultancy, managing stakeholder relations, and contributing to foodtech discussions. Leonard's earlier experience includes a position as a Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore, where research centered on innovative food processing technology, and internships at Ingredion Incorporated and International Flavors & Fragrances, which involved practical applications in food product development. Leonard holds a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from the National University of Singapore and an undergraduate degree in the same field.
