Daniel Rathbun serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at IPG Photonics since December 2018, where responsibilities include developing a risk-based security program and implementing Zero Trust components for a hybrid workforce. Previously, as CISO at Mercury Systems from January 2015 to October 2018, Daniel created a cybersecurity program focused on risk management and streamlined financial oversight. At AECOM, Daniel held the role of inaugural CISO from February 2007 to November 2014, implementing a cybersecurity program based on ISO-27001 and establishing a cyber-threat intelligence strategy. Daniel also formulated the first cybersecurity program for ENSR prior to its acquisition by AECOM.
