Taia Handlin is an experienced editor and writer with a strong background in editing, fact-checking, and content creation. Currently serving as an Associate Editor at IPG Health since July 2021, Taia previously worked as a Fact Checker for Public Seminar from August 2019 to June 2022. Freelance editing/writing roles included contributions to Leafly and wellness blogs. As Editor in Chief at Back Matter, Taia managed a team and oversaw the editorial process for the majority of published content. Prior experience includes Deputy Managing Editor and podcast producer/host at BreakThru Radio, along with a sales associate position at Shag Brooklyn and an editorial internship at BUST Magazine. Taia holds a Master of Arts in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Studies from Whitman College.
