Nick Chism is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure and business development. Currently serving as Chair of IPFA since May 2021, Nick leads a global association that connects infrastructure professionals across over 600 organizations. As a Non Executive Director at Connected Places Catapult since July 2020, Nick contributes to innovation in urban development. Previously, Nick held key leadership roles at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, including Chief Business Adviser and Director General, focusing on business investment and growth in the UK. Nick’s earlier career at KPMG spanned nearly two decades, culminating in roles such as Deputy Head of Global Clients & Markets and Global Head of Infrastructure. Nick Chism is an alumnus of the University of Oxford, where studies were completed from 1987 to 1990.
