Nadia Nikolova is a highly accomplished Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager at Allianz Global Investors, specializing in Development Finance and Impact Credit since February 2014. With a focus on mobilizing private capital for emerging and frontier markets to achieve UN Sustainable Development Goals, Nadia has successfully built a new team and strategy that positions AllianzGI as a market leader. Previous roles include Director of Alternative Investments, where Nadia developed new investment strategies, and Director of Project & Infrastructure Finance, concentrating on infrastructure debt transactions in Europe and the US. In addition, Nadia serves as a Non-Executive Board Member for both the Long-Term Infrastructure Investors Association and the International Project Finance Association. Educational qualifications include a Program for Leadership and Development from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Economics from the University of Essex.
