Bruce Story is an experienced professional in intellectual property strategy, currently serving as a Senior Advisor at ipCapital Group since September 2008, providing advisory services to global clients. Prior to this role, Bruce held various positions at The Dow Chemical Company from 1983 to August 2008, including Senior Director of Intellectual Capital Management, where direction of intellectual property strategy for the Performance Plastics and Chemicals business was a key responsibility, alongside management of a portfolio of 8,000 patents. Previous roles at The Dow also included Senior Manager of Intellectual Asset Management and Research Group Leader for Plastics, focusing on the development of new specialty polyethylene products. Bruce holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Trinity University, earned between 1970 and 1974.
