Wendy McMillan is a freelance writer and recipe developer with extensive experience in content creation, teaching, and consulting. Since 2008, Wendy has been self-employed, writing articles, promotional materials, and unique recipes for various publications and companies. Wendy has also served as a Freelance Writer and Safe Routes to School Consultant for Colorado Safe Routes to School/mPower Consulting since June 2019. Additionally, Wendy has contributed over 14 years to the St. Vrain Valley School District as a Kindergarten Teacher and Community Schools Enrichment Instructor. From 2012 to June 2018, Wendy held the position of External Communications Consultant for LiveWell Longmont, where Wendy managed communications and content across various platforms. Wendy McMillan holds a BA in English/Music from Emory University, an MA in Special Education from the University of Hartford, and an M. Litt in Creative Writing from the University of St Andrews.
