Doron Weber serves as Vice President and Program Director at The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation since October 1995, focusing on the public understanding of science and technology, universal access to knowledge, and international science engagement. In addition, Doron Weber is an author who published "IMMORTAL BIRD: A Family Memoir" through Simon & Schuster in February 2012, which was recognized by The Washington Post as one of the "Best of 2012: 50 Notable Works of Nonfiction" and featured on the Indie Next List. Doron Weber's educational background includes a BA and MA in Comparative Literature (French & Latin) and English Literature from Brown University, Sorbonne, and Oxford from 1973 to 1981.
