Abhinay Mukunthan is a Director of Data Engineering at IP Australia, with a career spanning from July 2013 to the present, during which Abhinay has also served as Assistant Director of the Patent Modernisation Initiative and held various roles in patent examination. Prior to this, Abhinay co-founded Envirolove, managing accounts and developing software for commercial recycling practices. Experience includes research assistant positions at Smart Services CRC and the University of Wollongong, focusing on in-vehicle service delivery and digital classroom solutions, along with a summer research internship at CSIRO that involved software development for radio-telescopes. Abhinay holds a Ph.D. in Telecommunications and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wollongong, along with earlier education qualifications.
