Emily Forrest Cataldi is an experienced project manager and education researcher with a strong background in survey design, data analysis, and educational research. Currently serving as the Iowa SLDS Project Manager at the Iowa Department of Education since October 2020, Emily previously held roles at RTI International, where duties included senior research education analyst and research education analyst, focusing on all aspects of research from data preparation to report writing. Earlier in their career at MPR Associates, Inc., Emily managed large survey data analysis projects and contributed to survey development and data release processes. Emily holds a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Iowa.
