Dolores Podesta has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations and research. Dolores began their career in 1998 as a Doctoral Fellow at Universidad de Buenos Aires. Dolores then joined AstraZeneca in 2005, where they held roles as a Clinical Research Associate, Clinical Research Associate II, and eventually became a Sr. Clinical Research Associate. In 2012, Dolores moved to Gilead Sciences as a Clinical Trial Manager, and later transitioned to Dermira, Inc. in 2016, where they served as a Clinical Trial Manager and Associate Director of Clinical Operations. Their most recent position, starting in 2018, is with Iovance Biotherapeutics, Inc., first as an Associate Director of Clinical Operations and then promoted to Director of Clinical Operations in July 2020.

Dolores Podesta completed their Bachelor's degree at Colegio Esquiu from 1992 to 1994. Dolores then pursued further education at the University of Buenos Aires, where they obtained a degree in Biochemistry from 1994 to 2000. Following this, Dolores Podesta continued their studies at the University of Buenos Aires and completed a PhD in Biochemistry from 2000 to 2004.
